Welcome!

Brooks Lake is located in the heart of Cokato Minnesota. The lake has a surface area of 96 acres and a maximum depth of 21 feet. Brooks Lake features the Legion Park with a public access for fishing and recreation.

Brooks Lake Area Association monitors clarity and water quality through tests and surveys. They hold an annual meeting and publish a yearly newsletter. The association aims to promote, maintain and improve the environmental and recreational protection of Brooks Lake and its surrounding area while addressing the wants and needs of the residents, community, lake and watershed as a whole.

Improvement and Informative Meeting October 6th

Brooks Lake Area Association is holding a meeting Tuesday October 6th at 6:30pm at Veteran’s Memorial Park (commonly called Legion Park) on the shores of Brooks Lake in Cokato.

We will be addressing water quality test results and some exciting opportunities including upcoming projects and grants. We also need your input on setting our goals for the next two years. We hope you can come!!

Yearly memberships are only $5 for individualys and families and $10 for business' and as always donations are greatly appreciated and needed.
